Isolated Patients and Travel Assistance

IPTAAS is the Isolated Patients Travel and Accommodation Assistance Scheme. This is an NSW Government scheme providing financial assistance towards travel and accommodation costs when a patient needs to travel long distances for treatment that is not available locally.

South East Regional Hospital

South East Regional Hospital, servicing the area from Mallacoota to Batemans Bay, opened its doors on 8 March 2016. We offer emergency department bays, medical and surgical inpatient beds, a maternity unit, paediatric unit, a critical care unit, operating theatres including day surgery, renal dialysis chairs, oncology area, Hospital in the Home and separate mental health unit. A sub-acute rehabilitation unit recently opened.

Eden Community Health Centre

Services include: dietitian, hearing services, mental health counsellors, needle syringe program, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, seniors centre, sexual assault counselling, sexual health service, social worker, speech pathology, basic foot care, immunisation & wound care.Clinicians attend by appointment only

Teen Clinic

The teen clinic is a free service that provides local teenagers with the opportunity to talk to a registered nurse in a non-judgemental environment about a wide range of medical and non-medical issues.

Curalo Medical Clinic

Curalo Medical Clinic is a fully accredited general practice, currently holding accreditation with Quality Practice Accreditation Pty Ltd. We are also an accredited training practice and are committed to training the next generation of medical students and registrars.
