Eden Recovery and Resilience Alliance

Eden Recovery and Resilience Alliance (ERRA)

ERRA is managed through the Eden Community Access Centre (ECAC) as a collaboration with the Eden Visitor Information Centre, the Eden Chamber of Commerce, local businesses and interested community members.

OUR VISION

ERRA’s vision is to help support the growth of a strong, inclusive and unified community able to work in harmony to withstand the social, cultural, environmental and economic challenges of the future.

To achieve this, its mission is to be a recovery and resilience-focused voice for the community, championing relevant community projects and ideas, facilitating connections amongst business, government agencies and community groups and working to listen to and engage with the needs, hopes and concerns of community members as we face an uncertain future together.

FUNDING

Business Council of Australia funding awarded in early 2020 provides for the employment of a Community Development Officer to facilitate ERRA’s mission including building relationships with key government representatives and advocating to them for support for its projects.

OUR PRIORITIES

ERRA’s work is guided by a Priority Community, Economic Development and Tourism Projects document compiled in response to the 2019-20 bushfires and COVID-19 pandemic. The Priorities Document is currently being updated and will be uploaded in the near future.

The document contains a list of short and long-term community economic development and tourism projects identified as priorities for the community. It also references the many community-led projects that sit outside ERRA’s direct scope but for which ERRA is providing support.
