Motor Bike Tours

Instead of driving to Eden on your next visit

WHY NOT RIDE ?

Spend some time, and experience some of the most beautiful wilderness you’ll see anywhere in the world, as you negotiate some great winding and undulating roads through the many hills and valleys of the surrounding area. Those visitors who stay are pleasantly surprised as they venture out for day trips.

Eden is very bike friendly as it plays host to thousands of riders on their way to and from Phillip Island for Motor G.P.and Super Bike races each year. Eden has all types of accommodation ranging from caravan to five star. One motel in particular, the Sapphire Coast Motel, has “Bikes Under Cover” parking.

One of the “half day” rides you might take on your next visit, is from Eden to Candelo returning via Myrtle Mountain, to Wyndham and back to Eden, 100km round trip. On this ride you will see spectacular scenery, plenty of nice winding and undulating road that takes you over hills and through valleys to beautiful historic Candelo. This is a tiny but charming village that has been designated an urban conservation area.

Its old attractive buildings with their shady verandahs invite a leisurely stroll through the town’s tranquil atmosphere and turn of the century charm and are well worth a look. If you’re there on the first Sunday of the month be sure and check out the local produce market held in the park.
