DESCRIPTION:The Sapphire Coast Orchid Club’s Winter Show is a most spectacular orchid show and will be held at Twyford Hall Merimbula on the NSW far South Coast. This annual event attracts growers from all over the south coast vying for the coveted awards. \nCymbidium orchids are at their best at this time of the year\, and visitors can see the state of the art blooms on show. Along with the rapidly expanding Australian native orchid section\, there are many other exotic varieties of orchids on show. Potting demonstrations and tips on orchid culture will be given by some of the South Coast’s top orchid growers. \nThere is a sales table where members sell excess plants\, this provides an opportunity for both the enthusiast as well as the public to purchase quality plants at very reasonable prices. DESCRIPTION:We need your help to champion our Table Talks! \nWe have commenced conducting Table Talk sessions across Eden and surrounds to start a conversation about community disaster preparedness and how communities can come together to support each other to be better prepared for future disasters. \nWe are also looking to recruit community members to host their own Table Talk sessions and lead these very important conversations. We are holding a Table Talk Training session on Saturday June 25 at the Eden RSL Memorial Hall ( 10am-3pm).  This is a great opportunity for the community to learn more about the disaster preparedness project\, our Table Talk method and how to host productive conversations about disaster preparedness. Morning Tea and Lunch will be provided. This FREE event is commitment free and an opportunity to get to know more about the DPP and our Table Talk method – come along\, have some food and a chat.
