Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels is a subsidised meal delivery program for people who live within the Twofold Bay Region. All clients over the age of 50 are automatically eligible. Anyone else under the age of 50 can apply and be approved after review
Bega Valley Community Transport
Transport for frail aged, disabled people & carers who need to attend doctors appointments within the Shire, Canberra or Batemans Bay. Transport also for shopping, recreational and social outings.
NSW Seniors Card
As a NSW permanent resident aged 60 or over, you can apply for a NSW Seniors Card if you're averaging 20 hours or less of paid work a week across a 12-month period, or a NSW Senior Savers Card if you're averaging more than 20 hours of paid work a week across a 12-month period. Both cards are free and give you discounts and special offers at over 7,400 businesses across NSW including shops, restaurants and professional services. Many interstate businesses also provide discounts on request. The NSW Seniors Card gives you access to the Gold Opal Card transport concessions and public transport concessions Australia-wide.

Red Cross can provide you with a daily telephone call to check on your wellbeing through a service known as Telecross. This provides peace of mind if you are at risk of an accident or illness that may go unnoticed, such as falling and being unable to call for help. The volunteer will check to see that you are well and provide a friendly voice to wake up to each morning
